Sharp 4T-C70BK2UD 70″ LED Smart Android TV.
The Sharp C70 is the first entry to start our Sharp TV reviews. It is the ultimate multi-purpose gadget for your entertainment room. Among its features are the latest display technologies from Sharp, such as Aquos™ and high luminance. The two help the screen to deliver pictures in vivid 4K clarity, unlike any other TV we have tested this year.

The on-board X4 Master Engine Pro II processor upscales any image to near 2160p resolutions. The colors are rich, and the contrast is not too bad. However, you will struggle a bit when looking at pictures in the dark. The contrast ratio is not as high, and blacks may appear too dark for you to make out the picture.
TV design is fabulous. At only 2.9 inches thick, the TV looks like a painting on the wall when mounted. One flaw we noticed with this unit is the lack of cable management. You will also struggle to reach the ports if you mount the TV flush to your wall. They are all located at the back on the left side. Even though the casing is plastic, the all-black metallic finish is good enough to fool the untrained eye.
The smart TV platform is powered by Android 9.0, offering you access to over 1 million movies and TV series. A Google Assistant Voice Control remote makes it easy for you to navigate through the device’s functions without strain. You get Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Pandora, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney Plus pre-installed in the unit. You may struggle a little with the sound. But, you can use the money that you save to buy a decent external sound system.
The unit also performs well when used with a gaming console. The images appear with extreme clarity, and there is close to no motion blur. With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 all built-in the TV, there is nothing that this unit will not do. Below are the full specifications of the set.

Sharp 32″ LC32CHG4041K

The LC32 has been in production since 2016. It has been in distribution in Europe and Asia but is now available for purchase from selected retailers in the US. It features a direct-lit LED screen that is capable of producing images at 1366 X 768 pixels with a 60 Hz refresh rate. It also comes with active motion technology to reduce motion blur for fast-moving images. An exciting feature on this TV is the in-built PVR. It allows you to record live TV programs to watch later, something which even the high-end models rarely have.

With an 8.4 cm thickness, the TV mounts perfectly to your wall without causing any distortion to the décor. On the unit are 2 USB 2.0 ports for your hard disk and any other resource, as well as 2 HDMI ports for gaming and your fire stick. The Freeview HD tuner allows you to access free-to-air channels and radio stations, with no need for an internet connection. It also produces decent sound from its two 10-Watt Harman/Kardon speakers. Regardless of the year of production, the features of the LC32 warrant it to be part of our Sharp TV reviews. The LC 32 is a great unit to have as a secondary TV in your house.

43″ Sharp 4K UHD Smart LED TV

If you are feeling a little nostalgic, you can opt for the LC-43N700U. It was in production back in 2015 and was Sharp’s foray into the mid-range smart TV market. You will find many other Sharp TV reviews that look unfavorably on this unit, but we feel it would be unfair to compare it to what is present in the market. It does feature the Aquos Display technology of Sharp, but it is not up to par with the above two TVs. The pictures appear a little faded, and the brightness setting is relatively low.
The design is decent compared to other TV of the time. However, it is not anything to wow about. You only get 14 Watts of audio output, so do not expect to hear any knocks from your neighbors anytime soon. The Smart TV interface runs on the OperaTV OS, which is underwhelming. The interface and operation are decent for that time, but there is a limited selection of useful apps to enjoy. In complete honesty, there are better models that you can get in the market. It can be a tremendous spare TV should you need one if your primary breaks down.
